I really enjoy engagement sessions because you spend this limited block of time getting to know two people - how they met, what they enjoy doing + what makes them "click." You can tell by looking at these images that Bronwen + Mike have a deep connection, are willing to have fun + are open to anything... I love that!

Walking...

I love to walk - it's the best form of exercise for me, aside from swimming. Last Thursday, Lynn, Sophia + I went walking through a little patch of forest at UCSD, of all places. Occasionally, a jogger will pass you by, but ultimately you're alone + the trees seem to envelop you in its beauty.

I photographed music buyer Steven Kader at the North Park Theatre yesterday for the SDJJ. This was my first visit to the Theatre, + hopefully not the last. It was built in the 1920s + I just loved it!

San Diego Harbor Wedding [Cary + Darren]

I had such a great time 2nd shooting for Lynn Dao a couple of weeks ago, who is always fun to photograph with.

We started off at the very tall + beautiful Hyatt in Downtown.





Cary is not only a stunning bride, but she's a kick-a$$ border patrol agent!















The party was so lively! I love when the DJ mixes in a little salsa/latin flavor.
