We spent Christmas Eve at Grandma Varley's house + Christmas day up at the cabin in Big Bear. It was a bit chilly up there, but beautiful nonetheless. When we left it was actually snowing, a first for me. Good times...
Sophia's first time touching the snow :)
Sophia with Uncle J.J.
John got "Bourne Ultimatum." which he was so excited to get.
He also got a Tweety hat. Very entertaining.
The Varley Brothers.
I wish everyone a Happy New Year!

Goodbye Thomas Jefferson!
12.17.07
My husband, John, has finally graduated from Thomas Jefferson Law School + I have to say I'm so proud of him! Here are a few images from his graduation ceremony at the Aerospace Museum in Balboa Park.
Sophia + Emma + short attention span = lots of running around
My sister... future flight attendant?
Now we have one big obstacle left and that's the BAR EXAM. Ugghhh....

Darlington House Wedding [Dree + Cody]
12.07.07
Darlington House, La Jolla
What a way to top off the end of the year, then to photograph an amazing couple on one of the happiest days of their lives. It was supposed to rain that day, but decided to hold back during their ceremony. Not only were Dree + Cody lucky that day, they are also lucky to have had an incredible group of people supporting them + I enjoyed my time there thoroughly. Oh, and the music was truly rockin'.
Something old, something new, something blue.
Aren't these boots awesome?
I love the expressions on these kids' faces.
Thank you both for allowing me to share in your beautiful day. I wish you two all the love + happiness.
