Mhairi + James 6.26.07

I met Mhairi and James for their engagement session at the Torrey Pines State Reserve, which lies between La Jolla and Del Mar. It was a nice hike up to the top, but the sight overlooking the ocean was well worth it. Mhairi and James were super cool and up for anything. Here are just a few of of my favorite images.

My photog friend Lynn Dao and I decided to practice our shooting during noon, which is probably the worst time to shoot because of the harsh shadows that it casts. We had to find a subject that was available and definitely likeable, so we brought along Sophia:)

Happy Birthday to Me!

So...I celebrated my 24th birthday yesterday. It seems as though time moves faster each year. It's a good thing that I'm attached to my camera, otherwise I'd forget a lot of the meaningful moments in my life. Thanks Christy for that REALLY big balloon.
