After watching The Soloist last night, I learned that there are about 90,000 homeless people living in the greater Los Angeles area. Almost everyday, I drive by these people, who walk amongst us, almost invisible. It saddens me how many times I've walked by them and have never said hello. I need to be that person who steps out from the crowd and asks "how are you doing today?"



If you walk along Harbor Drive, you'll notice a sidewalk lined with quotes from Martin Luther King, Jr. Such beautiful words...

Paradise Lost [The Salton Sea]

The Salton Sea. Once a paradise and a retreat for vacationers is now a place of abandonment and desolation. Yet, there's a calmness and beauty that still resides.





At first, this place seems to be teeming with life. I was sad to discover the huge amount of fish carcass washed ashore.













I'm looking forward to the next trip to Salton Sea. Who knows what I'll discover.

ZLAC Rowing Club Wedding [Michele + Michael]

I had so much fun photographing this wedding with the talented Gabrielle Fox at the ZLAC Rowing Club. And let me just say, shooting alongside Miss Fox doesn't seem like work at all. It's always a good time :)



This location definitely had a certain charm.













The lovely and talented Jasmine Commerce and her brother provided some great music for both the ceremony and cocktail hour. Loved them!
