PHOTObooths!

I love LOVE love photobooths! In fact, any time I'm near one, I'll drop what I'm doing and go take some fun photos in them. I've collected an eclectic assortment of photobooth strips throughout the years and will continue my little obsession until the day they ban them. Someday, I'd actually like to own one and make it a requirement for every one of my house guests to get down and goofy in them :)

Hello 2009! I wanted to start the new year with some great news. John, Sophia and I are expecting a little girl this May :) As of now, I'm 5 months pregnant. We're very excited about our growing family and wanted to share a few images with you.

Goodbye 2008!

This was an amazing year.

- John passed his bar exam and started his bankruptcy law practice
- I photographed some amazing weddings and met some great people.
- John and I accomplished one of our goals, which I'll be announcing very soon!

Big Bear Photography [White Winter]

We headed up to the cabin again for Christmas, which was unbelievably beautiful and freeeeeeeeezing cold...burghhh!





Our good friends, the Yeums, joined us for some sledding fun near Onyx Summit.









I love this image of Sophia and John. She's just having the time of her life and John's completely tired and worn out from dragging her around in the sled.

The next day, Sophia took her very first ski lesson at the Little Bear School in Snow Summit. She was the youngest kid there. We were SO proud of her!

I first met Tyra and John at Marivic and Joe's wedding more than a year ago. I was so happy when she asked me to photograph her family , including the newest addition at only 2 months.

A good read...

Wedding season is slowing down and I've had much time to spend with Sophia, John and some friends and truly enjoy the holidays. Although I love staying busy and must always have something to do, I am starting to enjoy my freedom.

A couple of weeks ago, I went to a movie by myself (which I rarely do anymore) and decided to watch Twilight. I was totally bewitched by the film so I bought the books and read them within a week. I felt like my life was on a standstill and I couldn't do anything normal until I finished the last one. I finished the 4th one this morning. The story and characters totally draw you in. I'm all for the suspense, thrills and romantic elements of this story.



In addition to my babble of Twilight, I wanted to share a few images from my Thanksgiving break in Big Bear.





Any chance I can escape the city and go visit the cabin or any mountainous area, I am a happy girl :)
