Darlington House, La Jolla

What a way to top off the end of the year, then to photograph an amazing couple on one of the happiest days of their lives. It was supposed to rain that day, but decided to hold back during their ceremony. Not only were Dree + Cody lucky that day, they are also lucky to have had an incredible group of people supporting them + I enjoyed my time there thoroughly. Oh, and the music was truly rockin'.

La Jolla Cove Wedding [Kelly + Andy]

They kept it intimate, simple + everything turned out beautifully. The day was a bit windy + cold, but nothing out of the ordinary for these to Seattle residents. I met up with Kelly in her villa inside La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla. Kelly was amazingly calm.





Andy gave Kelly this cross the morning of their wedding.

Cute story - Kelly + Andy first met each other at a bar. They left that night not knowing whether they were going to see or speak to each other again. But to their surprise, they happened to be members of the same church. They have been commited to each other ever since.



The stunning floral arrangements were created by Gilberto Gallo.









The ceremony was just a short walk away to La Jolla Cove.

























Everyone headed to the reception at Caffe Bella Italia in Pacific Beach, which had a cool ambience + lots of yummy italian food! The restaurant's catering manager, Maria Sheperd, took on the even bigger job of coordinating Kelly + Andy's wedding. I think her hard work paid off.

Balboa Park Engagement Session [Dree + Cody]

I met these two at Balboa Park on Sunday at 10 a.m. for their engagement session. I knew right away that Dree + Cody were a fun, interesting couple. They were up for any ideas that I had, and I loved it. I had so much photographing them. They have definite chemistry + I liked watching them interact with each other. I hope you guys had as much fun as I did. Here are some of my favorite images.













Dree + Cody were great sports. They never complained once when I asked them to run out in the middle of the street (several times).
