Balboa Park Engagement Session [Dree + Cody]

I met these two at Balboa Park on Sunday at 10 a.m. for their engagement session. I knew right away that Dree + Cody were a fun, interesting couple. They were up for any ideas that I had, and I loved it. I had so much photographing them. They have definite chemistry + I liked watching them interact with each other. I hope you guys had as much fun as I did. Here are some of my favorite images.













Dree + Cody were great sports. They never complained once when I asked them to run out in the middle of the street (several times).

La Jolla Cove Engagement Session [Kelly + Andy]

Engagement Session 10.07.07

I met these two early Sunday morning at La Jolla Cove. I knew immediately 1. we would get along nicely 2. these two are definitely in love 3. their wedding on 11.23.07 will be very memorable :)

Kelly + Andy traveled from Seattle to do some last minute arrangements for their wedding next month here in SD. It was a great session with two very fun people. I think I might've worked them out a bit at the end, but hey...it was all in good fun.

Quail Botanical Gardens Wedding [Cat + Loran]

A few words stick out in my mind when I think of this wedding... unique... beautiful... fun!

Their wedding took place at the gorgeous Quail Botanical Gardens in Encinitas. Everything was right on. I was amazed at how much attention Cat + Loran put into the details of their wedding, from the flower arrangements to the place cards + the awesome lighting at the reception.

I knew right away when I first met Cat at Swamis Cafe that I was in for a real treat... and I was not disappointed.











Cat + Loran exuded happiness... laughing throughout the ceremony.

























It seemed like half of the guests had something to say during the toasts. Many of the speeches were very heartfelt and emotional, and then there were those who seemed to have the whole crowd cracking up, especially Cat + Loran. LOL!









Thank you both for allowing me to be apart of your day. I wish you much love + happiness in your life together!

"Anything is Possible"

This statement is so true. Love doesn't come in a perfect heart-shaped box. Sometimes we find that person that we feel we were meant to be with in unexpected places and situations.





Watching these two wonderful people stand side by side, confessing their love + commitment to each other was deeply emotional and I think everyone felt if that day. The intimate ceremony was held in their backyard with their closest friends + relatives.





The sky was amazing! A little rain threatened to dampen the day, but luckily the skies cleared up and beautiful clouds appeared.

During the ceremony, each of the guests came up and poured sand into the jar of sand that Kim + Barbara held.



After the ceremony, everyone headed in to watch the slideshow of images that Kim + Barbara put together.



Afterwards, everyone made the drive to Il Fornaio in Coronado for some yummy Italian food.









The private room in Il Fornaio had a gorgeous view of the Downtown San Diego Harbor.



You two deserve all of the happiness in the world. I wish you both the very best!
