Jodi + Ameer 8.18.07

Jodi + Ameer traveled from Seattle down to sunny San Diego for their wedding at the Rose Garden in Balboa Park. Family + friends flew from across the U.S. to watch as these two tied the knot. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed spending time, getting to know the both of them.








Jodi + her two sisters had me laughing the whole time.

Marivic + Joe Wedding 8.18.07

Marivic + Joe are the sweetest people. I really enjoyed meeting their closest family + friends. They got married at the Barona Resort + Casino.
The day was full of emotion + laughter... lots of laughter!


Marivic's niece's did a great job with her hair + makeup.























I wish you both + Matt much happiness!

Big Bear + Yosemite = lots o' fun!!!

We headed up to Big Bear for 10 days. We spent a lot of time getting familiar with our new family cabin, the locals and taking advantage of the beautiful scenery. Our friends, the Yeums, came up for a few days, which is always a good time. I witnessed a woman throw herself out of a moving vehicle, which scared the $#%* out of me. Oh, and I even saw buffalo for the very first time :)





Next stop was Yosemite. On our way up, we stopped in my home town for my niece's 2nd birthday. It's always nice seeing the family, especially when they've got a huge bounce house in the backyard.





Yosemite is...GORGEOUS! I didn't want to leave after 3 days. We went swimming in the river, hiked up Vernal Falls, oh and John chased away a black bear from our camp. I didn't sleep very much that night.











This was an awesome vacation!

Leaving town...

Hi everyone! I am in Big Bear,Ca right now enjoying the clean air and the beautiful scenery. In a few days, I will be heading up to Yosemite, one of my favorite places to visit.

I'll be back in San Diego on the 16th. In the meantime, I will try to return all phone calls and emails as soon as possible.

Mhairi + James 7.20.07

Their closest family and friends joined together to watch as Mhairi and James said their I do's at the Wedding Bowl in La Jolla. The ceremony was full of genuine emotion and happiness and I feel so lucky to have witnessed it. They celebrated afterwards at the Grande Colonial.

Marivic + Joe 7.19.07

Marivic and Joe were so much fun to photograph. We met at La Jolla Cove for their engagement session. Marivic was all laughs! Their son, Matt, joined in on the fun.

Photobooth Fun!

One of my favorite things to collect are those photo strips of 4 images taken inside photobooths. Last night, I had a blast second shooting for Lynnette Mortero at the Museum of Photographic Arts, my favorite museum in Balboa Park. We had such an awesome time.
